When CBD was officially declared a Novel Food in Europe in January 2019, the UK took the opportunity to require CBD companies to submit a corresponding application for their products. In addition to the details necessary for submission, all CBD products needed to comply with other legislative requirements and should always be labelled correctly. The end goal was of course to create a regulated CBD market where full transparency allow consumers to make informed purchases.
Fortunately, Elevar Hemp had quickly applied before the necessary deadline and all 3 flavours of the brand’s CBD oral strips have just recently been added to the FSA’s public Novel Food list. While all listed products are put under the status ‘awaiting evidence,’ it is considered the current benchmark for credibility. Elevar Hemp also provides lab tests for every batch of its products, which can be easily accessed here.
